TRAVEL RECOMMENDATION

You should not only have a pleasant visit, but also a pleasant arrival to Wackerbarth Castle. We recommend you travel by public transport and look forward to your visit.

Wackerbarth Castle offers barrier-free access. We will be happy to assist you in planning an excursion to the realm of the senses.

Arrival by public transport

  • S 1 to Radebeul-Kötzschenbroda station, then in the direction of Meißen (15 minutes' walk)

  • Tram line 4 (last stop: Radebeul West) to the “Radebeul West” stop (Flemmingstraße), then approx. 10 minutes' walk in the direction of Meißen.

  • Tram 4 (last stop: Weinböhla) to stop “Schloss Wackerbarth”

Arrival by bicycle

Wackerbarth Castle is located near the Elbe Cycle Path. The route is signposted from the Elbe bridge Niederwartha.

Arrival by car

Exit A4/E40 Dresden-Altstadt:

  • take the Meißner Landstraße (B6) towards Meißen
  • in Niederwartha go straight on to the S84/ bridge Niederwartha
  • after the bridge turn right onto the S84
  • at the roundabout go straight on to Cossebauder Straße
  • at the traffic lights turn right into Meißner Straße
  • on the outskirts of Radebeul turn left into Schloss Wackerbarth / Wackerbarthstraße 1

Exit A4/E40 Dresden-Neustadt:

  • take the Kötzschenbrodaer Straße until Bahnhofstraße
  • turn right into Bahnhofstraße
  • turn left into Meißner Straße
  • on the outskirts of Radebeul turn right into Schloss Wackerbarth / Wackerbarthstraße 1

Exit A4/E40 Wilder Mann/Moritzburg:

  • turn right onto Moritzburger Landstraße
  • turn left into Waldstraße
  • turn left into August-Bebel-Straße and follow straight on until Meißner Straße
  • turn right into Meißner Straße
  • on the outskirts of Radebeul turn right into Schloss Wackerbarth / Wackerbarthstraße 1
